Hey IH ๐ I want to share something I've been building quietly for a few months.
The problem I kept hitting: I had to present things regularly โ demos, pitches, talks โ and I always ended up either reading robotically from notes or blanking mid-sentence when I tried to go without them. Neither felt good.
I looked for tools to help and found teleprompters (which make you look like you're reading) and flashcard apps (which turn memorization into a chore). Nothing felt right.
So I built Offscript.
The core idea is simple: your script fades a little each day.
Day 1: you see the full text
Day 3: key words start disappearing
Day 5: only the structure remains
Day 7: blank page โ you're speaking from memory
Along the way, Offscript listens and gives you AI feedback on pacing, filler words (um, uh, like), and recall accuracy.
The insight came from how musicians learn solos โ they don't just repeat it 100 times, they gradually remove the sheet music.
Building this for speakers, sales reps, job seekers, and students.
