Hi all, I just launched the public beta of Procrushtinate. If you were wondering how in the world you're going to beat procrastination and realize your dream project then this might just be the solution you're looking for.
I'd also love to hear your feedback on the landing page.
Not a fan of the landing page.. I want to see some color, some screenshots, some idea of how it's going to work. This looks like a article I'd read about how to do something, not something that is going to help me do it.
The try needs to be free.. at least until you have a massive user base and proof it works.
Just my two cents, and I suffer from procrastination :)

Thanks for your feedback. I wanted to put the website up quickly, so I kept it minimal. I'll spruce it up in the forthcoming weeks.
The trial is not free because I had many people who signed up for the free closed beta but never came back; paying for trial is a way to make them commit to it.
If you're suffering from procrastination I'd suggest you to try the program :)
I like your landing page! 😀So good idea to make a landing page and not to wait to find a good designer or lear designing by yourself. Good luck!
Thanks, Karolina. I'm a designer myself but I didn't want to get stuck in the perfectionism rut. So, I designed, coded and launched it quickly.
On the landing page - I'm torn. On the one hand I like the simplicity, but on the other hand it seems a little too text heavy and my eyes start to wander.
Tough balance to get, and I don't have any suggestions unfortunately as I'm a hopeless designer, only that comment.
Thanks for your feedback. Yes, simplicity is hard to get right and I didn't even try because I wanted to put this up quickly. I'll be redesigning the website in the forthcoming weeks. I'm a designer :)

I was closed-beta testing Procrushtinate when I came across BaaS and was marveling at the coincidence and the similarity between both :) Reminded me of multiple independent discovery, Newton and Leibniz. In fact, I added the question, "Do I have to show proof…" to elucidate the difference between the two for those who were familiar with your service.
By the way, congrats on the recent HN spotlight.

Yes, visually it's very similar to yours. There are only a few layout options for the type of information in those two sections, which are easy to read, look good and quick to code. So I just resorted to one of them :)
