Show IH: QuoteMate — AI quoting & invoicing app for Australian tradies (just launched)
Hey IH!
I'm Thomas, founder of QuoteMate — an AI-powered quoting & invoicing app built specifically for Australian tradies.
The problem: Tradies in Australia spend hours manually writing up quotes after a long day on the tools. Generic invoice apps don't understand how trades actually work — GST, live supplier pricing, trade-specific materials, section-based jobs.
What QuoteMate does:
• Describe a job → AI suggests a full materials list with quantities and real-time pricing from major Aussie suppliers
• Section-based quoting (e.g. "8 fence bays, 2 gates") with per-section labour + materials
• Quote-to-invoice in one tap
• 9-stage job pipeline with Google Calendar sync
• Square tap-to-pay on-site, PayID, BPAY, bank transfer
• Xero integration
• Offline mode for rural job sites
• GST auto-calculated
We've got a Free plan and Pro at $49/month.
Would love to hear from anyone who's worked with tradies or built vertical SaaS for skilled trades. Happy to answer any questions!
