Hey Alex, what the tech stack for this? Pretty neat!
Haskell, SQL, and a tiny VPS.
What a great little tool! What’s the ARR now? Does it exceed the hosting costs? I could see keeping something like this up forever even if it doesn’t make a lot of money because I’m sure it’s useful even to you. It probably does not also need a lot of constant new feature development.
Love the minimalist aesthetic. Nice work!
ARR is $110, excluding lifetime subscription revenue. I just switched from lifetime to yearly a few days ago.
I built this a year ago as a simple RSS reader. Yesterday I launched a new version with a daily newspaper view and support for email newsletters.
Yesterday I made $84 from new customers after sharing it on reddit.
Happy to answer any questions.
We did the same for algotrading, take a look at www.mltraders.wiki and if you like it I can pass you some hints how I'm scrapping news.
@garantbm it shows internal server error when i checked the website from my mobile.
May i know which web scraping APIs you are using for scraping news?
Alex! This is a great tool! I really wish I'd made it myself. Seems so great now that I'm looking at it.
Keep up the good work!
