Show IH: Redirecting a .carrd.co site to another site/URL
Saw on multiple occasions marketing/startup folks using Carrd asking about how to redirect a .carrd.co site to another site.
Got an idea and went to make the redirect plugin!
It’s a free Carrd plugin template to redirect your old Carrd site to a new URL. Sometimes you have an old .carrd.co site that you’re ‘upgrading’ to a new .com website on another platform, and want to redirect the .carrd.co subdomain to the new .com domain.
Technical note: We can’t change the DNS records for 301 server-side redirects, so using JavaScript on the client-side in an Embed element is a work-around.
