Show IH: socialkeeper.io - Get reminders with quicklinks to start conversations with old friends.
The site is www.socialkeeper.io and it's basically a tool which reminds you to get in touch with lost friends. I created it because I'm always forgetting to catch up with friends who are not in my everyday circle. Right now it's a very crude MVP and I just want to gauge interest, etc.
Not one of my friends is using Facebook anymore and while Instagram keeps me somewhat up to date, it's really passive. I wanted something to push me into connecting with them again.
This app will send you a reminder once every 10 to 20 days directly into your email inbox with links to open your favorite app, preload the contact and add a simple "Hi!" as default message. Right now the email includes links to Whatsapp, FB messenger, SMS, email and phone call.
The whole idea is to eliminate friction between getting the reminder and into a conversation.
What do you think? I'm using it myself and the quicklinks give me no excuse to just say hi!
I like the idea =) Who do you think your target market is? I find this useful, it's hard for me to define a niche that will pay for it. (Instead sayin"this is for everyone").
Mmm I did it mainly for me and to learn some tech stuff. But I think that with some add-ons it can become useful for business contacts. Like a personal non intrusive crm.

This has been on my todo list for about 6 months! I'm excited to try it out.
