Show IH: Storyrake - Create custom Reddit-powered email newsletters
I made a small tool (www.storyrake.com) a couple weeks ago that lets users subscribe to daily or weekly email summaries with the top posts from their selected subreddits.
Here's why I made it:
-I’m a fan of email newsletters, and use my inbox to curate/manage a good deal of content
-I subscribe to too many subreddits, so some of my favorites rarely make the front page due to lower traffic (and upvote) volumes.
-I wanted a snapshot summary covering top content from my favorite subreddits, without having to visit each individual subreddit or be bombarded with a stream of content through an RSS feed
Would love feedback of any kind here. At this stage just trying to see if the tool has enough traction that it's worth it to try and share more broadly, or if it's a dumb idea and I should just keep it to myself.
