Just a random thought, may be unrelated. I'm wondering if you proxied their site and then changed the site in that way like a CDN could injecting code/changes. Before doing actual changes to a site. Probably doesn't make sense. I don't know what your process is like to "clone" their site so you can do changes then show them.
It totally depends on the platform, what is being tweaked, and how far along the website is. I choose the best workflow on a case-by-case basis.
For example:
Some site builders allow you to preview changes before making them live, or create a local version to work on. On others you just have to make the change live.
Some tweaks may need approval before launching (like a design change), others (like setting up an external plugin) can happen behind the scenes.
If you've just got a theme and are still setting up your site, then changes directly to the live site aren't a big deal, compared to a site that has launched and has active visitors.
Yeah regarding live site that has visitors, definitely good idea to get it right/not break things especially if you forget to update their caching system.

I wanna try it and offer feedback, but my platform isn't listed on your conversion form. I'm running https://lilypadresumes.com with Jekyll on GitHub Pages.
It's a public repo so I figured you'd just be able to fork/MR.
Perhaps you don't want people to use the service on unpredictable platforms, but if that's not the case maybe add an "Other" option with room for details?

Nooooo. I hit escape during the checkout and it closed the form. Detailed entry disappeared!

Tweaky is different because it's all about single small design/development 'tweaks', for specific website builder platforms – rather than an unlimited, full custom development service.
Also there's no way I could compete on those prices in the UK without burning out! :)
It's going pretty well! We actually started with the small teaks in mind but soon moved to whatever you may need as that was what our clients where looking for, and with that we had to increase the price.
I'd advice you to specify what the scope of a tweak is as you'll probably run into some problems if you don't.

Thanks for the advice – definitely know the need to be super clear on what constitutes a 'tweak'. The next step for the site is to add some examples/mini case studies to give visitors a better idea of what they can expect!

I didn't want to put too many limitations on the definition of a 'tweak' yet, as I want to see how best I can help people – so I'm giving a few examples but encouraging people to reach out in the chat to discuss what they need.
Basically it's anything that can be done within one hour of design and/or development work.
Also I'm hoping some IH members take me up on this offer, so I can create a few case studies to show on the site, with more specific examples of tweaks in action!
For pricing, I wanted to keep it simple to start with whilst I find the right fit for the service, but I'd definitely like to offer a subscription-based option if there was demand for that.
I guess I'm currently just thinking about individuals using themes or website builders, who just need a bit of help from a pro to make their site perfect – so a subscription wouldn't make sense for them. But targeting agencies who might need tweaks across multiple sites is a great idea, thanks!
Or maybe both one-time & subscription, sometimes people just want one job done.
Definitely think this would be a good option!
