A few months back I stopped procrastinating and posted what I had so far for the side project I'm building - https://www.indiehackers.com/forum/show-ih-nichetester-editor-beta-94d946be20. I got a lot of great feedback, and a lot of insights from looking at analytics, so over the last few months I've been taking what I learned and iterating until I got to a newer version - you can see it now at https://nichetester.com.

I want NicheTester to be the first place you turn when you've got a new business idea - it takes you through a lean canvas, generates a basic brand for you, and uses this to generate a landing page so you can run ads, test conversions and see if your idea is going to work.

The main feedback I got back in march was that it was just too much work! The previous version forced you to control every feature of a 3-page sales site, which meant screen after screen after screen of forms, which was pretty fatiguing - very few people made it to the end.

So I've tried to fix the process and make everything a bit more fun by making the user build a company instead of a landing page - picking a logo, colours, figuring out their business model - then using that as the basis to generate a landing page that they can then go in and edit. I'm really keen to see what people think of this idea - I personally think it's a lot more interesting, but I'm hoping to get some feedback before I go all-in on it.

There's also a lot of little improvements - it now works much better on mobile (not getting that done was a big mistake), there's no stupid wall of intro text apologising for the quality, and I've split the Sign In and Register screens, because having them combined was confusing a lot of people.
