Sorry if I sound negative, but this kind of launch and promotion doesn't seem to be quite right.
Plivo is a VC-funded company and I don't think it's fair to try to steal the spotlight from our fellow struggling and proud IHes.
You should have more than enough capital and network to promote this in other places and websites.
Hey John, thanks for raising the concern. My intention here is not to promote the product but to get maximum feedback from this community. There are hundreds of ways to promote the product but very few to get honest feedback, I hope I can count on IndieHackers for that. This product is for developers by developers. For us, every feedback counts :)
As you said, "This product is for developers ", and that's a quite different, broader demographic. You product is not targeted at IHers.
IHers are not necessarily technical and they don't come here to discuss dev tools to use in their jobs, as you'd expect on HN.
I don't see how Plivo in specific would make the lives of IHers easier than Docker, Node and Slack already does.

@hamishirving Those are some great questions. You could integrate any phone system which is not bound by native registrar servers. We also offer SIP Based Endpoints to build complex phone systems. We intend to offer push notifications on PHLO after GA Release, should not take long.
