Show IH: Voicepods - automated human-like text to speech

I've finally gotten enough courage to share a project that I've been working on for the last few weeks. You can visit at https://www.voicepods.com
Voicepods is a service that can take any written work (just give it a URL!) and it'll convert that to human-like audio that you can share with your readers. Our goal is to convert all of our written work and make it more accessible through new audio-centric mediums.
Out of the many features that are in the pipeline, like a more realistic deep learning voice mode, I'm also just wrapping up a solution that would allow you to publish that same article to Google Home and Amazon Alexa with just one click.

That's really cool. Did you come up with your own improved TTS system or is that something pre-configured? Sounds familiar.
I think next step would be to add a Chrome extension and/or widget for Wordpress/Medium. I write on Medium a lot and would love to add a speech-version of it through a widget...
@dqmonn - I've added a widget for Medium. It's as simple as copying and pasting a link from voicepods into your medium article, and the widget will automatically be inserted. I would love to hear your thoughts on what you think and how I could improve! Check it out on https://www.voicepods.com.
Thanks! Currently, I'm just leveraging the deep-learning model that Google's text-to-speech API provides, it's based off of the WaveNet paper they published. I'm working on a model that sounds more unique using a similar network to provide a variety of different voices.
For the widget, I've been eager to integrate this into Medium, so that will be coming up soon. For now, there is a shortlink provided that you can use to share the audio version.
