Shuffle Shut Down

Well, today was the last day for Shuffle. I turned off the lights and (metaphorically) went home.

The last 15 months was very interesting and a heck of a learning experience. I learned:

1. Shuffle should have been more expensive
2. I should have invested time and money into switching hosting platforms and/or upgrading the back end tech sooner
3. Finding real developers on Upwork that won't screw you over isn't easy
4. When you do find someone good, pay them on a milestone or project basis

I do have an idea for a piece of software that I actually need, and I think many others need. I'm going to try using a no-code platform to build it, validate it, and then launch it for an affordable price.
