Simple chat / video / voice calls solution for your product

Hey Indie Hackers,

I've been building a service to allow you to setup a Matrix server for chat, video and voice calls. I've got the product to a point where it spins up a simple server with a push of a button, with a dashboard to manage logs, permissions, settings, auth, etc.

The benefits are:

  • Simple to setup. No need to think about setting up, running or managing servers.
  • Easy to configure. Turning off voice / video call, enabling all the different types of auth Matrix has to offer (phone or email) with toggles.
  • Simple pricing. The cost to you is the cost of the EC2 instance to run your server + 5% markup.
  • Transparency about server memory, CPU utilisation stats with ability to set notifications when usage goes above a certain threshold.

General benefits about Matrix are:

  • All instant messaging features available in apps like WhatsApp (read receipts, send photos/videos, group chats, admin and moderation, etc.)
  • Lots of SDKs that make it easy to integrate with your application.
  • End to End Encrypted.
  • Lots of open source clients. If you don't want to add chat / video / voice call into your app, your users can use the Element messenger to login to your servers and chat.
  • Lots more listed on their website.

Would any of you here be interested in this service? Please let me know here. I'd love some early feedback to improve the product and find bugs, so there is no markup for anyone who signs up in the next few days from here.
