Simple Project Tracking App

Hey Indie hackers! hope you are all doing well!

Just wanted to know what tools you are using to plan/track your project?

Trello? Linear? Clickup? Notion? Notepad?

most of the solutions I see out there, offering features/workspaces for teams, it feels a little bloated/cluttered for me as a single developer who want to plan out tasks

would be glad to hear from you, thanks :)

I use Things for all personal planning + various projects I'm working on.

It's super quick to add new task (press Space), you can write description + checklist inside. Very compact view, but clean, so you can quickly scan the list of tasks. You can segregate into sections.

I usually have it always open on side screen, so I can quickly switch into it and scribe smth down.

Also easy to use on mobile, so I can quickly add smth whenever it comes to my mind (in bed, on walk, etc).

Those bigger tools, proper project tracking, are valuable when you have a team, otherwise I find them too much hassle.
