Site traffic tips for saas?

Hello! I have been in website development for some time and in the past have worked with companies that have high ticket items (roofers, real estate agents ect.) and know how to get them local traffic that generates great ROI... That being said, I am brand new to getting enough traffic to build a monthly saas :/ I believe Chipy.io is a product that has great potential, but from running a few low budget test FB/PPC campaigns there ROI is not there.... yet.
So! that being said if any of you fine traffic gurus could give me some tips/suggestions to get Chipy.io traffic off the ground and point me in the right direction, you'll have a internet high five coming your way!

Some SEO basics will go a long way to giving you a boost, and from there you can continue to dig in as you feel comfortable.
SEO often seems pretty technical, but it can be broken down into two things: creating content, and optimizing content.
When it comes to creating content, the more pages and blog posts you have the more stuff you have indexed on Google. As a a drag and drop CMS you're probably targeting small businesses with limited code experience, and it seems you have an ecomm bent too. What are 5 topics you really want to be known for?
From there, run some searches on Google and get a sense of the keywords Google suggests, and the type of content other folks are creating to repurpose on your site as well as the questions your prospects are asking that you can answer in some quick blog posts. These will work to A) Give you something to share B) Give upfront value to prospects who visit your site and C) Provide ways to collect contact data (like subscribing to your blog, signing up for an account, ect).
You don't have to go too crazy here if you can blog once a week it'll have an impact.
When it comes to technical SEO - that gets a bit more complicated but really just make sure you don't have any broken links, your site loads quickly, and you're using things like header tags in your posts.
