Skill swap. I'm a senior PM. Need technical help.
Hey everyone.
I'm a senior PM with 5 years experience in enterprise SaaS.
I'm trying to get my startup off the ground and need some engineering help.
Poise creates podcasts from existing content. https://getpoise.co.uk
I know basic HTML/CSS. So that's not really gonna cut it :)
What I would like to get started on is a web app that allowed:
- Customers to signup
- Submit their content
- Feedback on their narration
- Hosted their audio and created an RSS feed (podcast host)
I have a background in UX design and I can put the UI together myself from scratch or with something like Bootstrap.
I'm also very experienced writing user stories, running sprints & working in a remote team.
Ultimately, see Poise as an end-to-end service for publishers to create, host, distribute, & monetise audio content.
There are lots of steps to get to that place. I started with narration because it was the least technically challenging aspect.
Anyone out there that would like to partner up or do a skill swap?

It would help me better understand what kind of technical help you need. Are you looking for an architect that helps shaping ideas and provides advice on conceptual issues? Do you need someone who manages infrastructure or does the backend application level coding? Do you need a frontend developer or a UX designer? Are you maybe looking for someone who does all of that? Maybe describe a bit more which technical challenges you have ahead and what needs doing.

Prices are steep. Possibly, $250 per hour is a kind of industry standard and I wanted to test the waters. There is a substantial cost have content professionally narrated and this service wouldn't be for everyone. Honestly, I'm not sure though yet. It's too early to tell.
