Slack plugin for remote teams - How's my MVP landing page?

Hey everyone,
We're launching an MVP slack plugin for asynchronous video standup meetings. Landing page is up now to start collecting emails for a beta launch. It's built on Gatsby.

Any feedback on design, speed, copy, SEO, general feel, etc would be greatly appreciated!

This is coming along nicely 🔥

Some of these benefits are pure gold, e.g.

you never have to suffer through 15 minutes of video conference tool technical difficulties again.

This is a pain that I know ppl feel!

A couple of them might not be as important, like

    Meeting Management and Scheduling

    and

Set Local Timezones to bring remote teams together

☝️ Both of these sound like they have to do with synchronous meetings. Are they crucial to the product's value?

How much effort would it be to put together a video example for the How It Works section?

From a scrum master / engineering manager's perspective, a quick demo of "here's what it looks like to do standups with RollCall" would be really persuasive. Doesn't have to be super "produced" looking to be valuable.

I'm on the fence about the reporting features, just not sure how important they'll be to potential customers.

The big story here is "either your standups are inefficient and hard to organize, or you're not doing them at all" ➡️ "every day you record a quick video and watch a quick video, on your own schedule, and you know what everyone's up to"

    It is a great story!

LMK whether a video demo (or screenshots of the product in action) is a possibility, whether the scheduling piece is vital or not, and what you think about de-emphasizing the reporting features.

If you think it'd be helpful, I'd love to take another pass and suggest some copy edits. (Striving for "50% helpful, 50% too cheesy but thanks" 😁)

Hey 👋 this is super interesting.

    👍 Clean design
👍 Single, repeated 'Add to Slack' CTA is simple and clear ❤️

What do you mean by "asynchronous video standup meetings" ? Does everyone record their update and then share the videos around?

Once I wrap my head around that I'll take another look at the page.

One quick observation in the meantime - the content seems partly designed to sell the very idea of doing standups.

Is it possible that this plugin would generate more interest from teams that already do standups, but have a particular pain point around them? (If so, what pain point might that be?)

      Hey @briandavidhall,

Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate it.

To explain the "asynchronous video standup meetings", in my experience, it's harder for remote teams to have efficient standup meetings due to timezones, technical difficulties on video conference software etc. So this plugin integrates with the teams slack channel, prompts the team members to record their updates individually at a preset local time that works for everyone and then concatenates all video clips into 1 meeting video for everyone to watch at their convenience. This guarantees meetings don't go too long, or get off track so the team can focus on their tasks.

Ok that makes sense and sounds amazing! I'll take another pass at the LP. I do think there's a way to convey the value even more effectively 🤔

I agree with that after review. I made some copy changes today and would love to hear your thoughts if you get a second :)
