Slow travel cash flow app
I’m prepping for my upcoming PanAmerican trip by pulling together a cash flow spreadsheet and graph to help me better understand forecasted costs over a 2-year span. This includes costs associated with border crossings, one-off trips (e.g., Galapagos), and daily expenses (e.g., food and Airbnb). This also takes currency exchange rates into account (current and predicted). All of this is in a Google Sheet but I’ve been tempted to turn this into a web app that can eventually grow into a more inclusive product for those doing long-term travels.
I’m targeting those that are working while traveling abroad, but this can also be used by those who are taking a year or two off and using their savings to travel.
Thoughts?
How much would you charge for it? Have you spoken to any other solopreneurs/digital nomads? I'd suggest do a cost (time to develop)/benefit (how much could it actually make you a month) analysis before you sink in time into it.
I've talked with a few about it and 100% of them said it would be useful, but I'm also unsure if they're saying that to be nice.
How much I'd charge for it? Haven't figured that out as this came to mind today. I'd probably provide a really affordable option for those traveling solely off of their savings and a more robust option for those that are digital "slow travelers". How much and what different features would be available for each tier, I have no idea.

Cool idea! The market might be super niche but I think that’s a benefit not a detraction. Especially for indie hacker projects, the market might not support a venture backed company but it might support a solopreneur!
I would think that using “influencers” like bloggers and YouTubers who promote this lifestyle might be an effective promotion strategy.
