Slowly improving my landing page, now with video! (August: The Hacker's Markdown Editor)

I have a strong preference for spartan landing pages, so I'm trying to find a balance on "pretty enough" for the average user, but maintaining a look I personally appreciate. I need to add some FAQ and how-to content (as well as some padding at the bottom), but I think it's close to a state that won't turn off potential users.
