Small job for a designer: Shape up one of my screen designs

Hey there! I am currently redesigning a big piece of MentorCruise.com, the profile pages (see: mentorcruise.com/mentor/DominicMonn).

They are pretty much still in their 2 year old original shape and it's time to do a drastic change to show off what direction we are going in.

They are also important to understand, cause it's the point of conversion.

Here's the thing: I have a high-ish fidelity design in Sketch right now and I need a designer with a good eye for UX to give it the last polish. I am happy to pay of course or offer something in returns (I'm good with engineering and growth, if that helps you!)

Anyone interested?

    Hi Dom,

[1] As far as UI goes, I think simplifying would make a lot of sense. Here's a quick example using airbnb as a template:

In general, if you limit the number of font sizes you use I think that would make the page a lot cleaner and more accessible to users.

I would also focus on making the primary CTA stand out more (i.e. using your bright green color for the apply / book a call buttons, and not for anything else).

[2] I would work to get testimonials that are more in-depth; maybe separated by different characteristics of what your users hope to get from a mentor (overall experience, personalized advice, responsiveness, value). I would also consider using NPS vs star ratings. Do you have a review form that is sent to mentees every month or after every call?

[3] I would ask mentors to take screenshots of their zoom calls with mentees and find a way to incorporate that into the reviews or their page as more social proof.

[4] I would also consider adding access to a slack for all people using the program. This is an easy way to create some community aspect and potentially add extra value at a pretty low cost.

    Cheers

I would reach out to Chris Silvestri. He recently left my team to freelance and he's a great UX Designer. Highly recommend reaching out and working with him. https://christophersilvestri.com/

    Hey Dom,

I'll be much more helpful if you need to wire up a responsive, & accessible webpage from your design.

    Can I be your plug?
