Small Niche Market, 15 Test Users, Quit Job, Building MVP, Hazy Path To $...Now what?

Hey IH,

My buddy and I are technical co-founders building an application for a small niche market: martial arts. We originally created a B2C app that we worked on for about 6 months, saw no traction with test users and about 3 weeks ago, decided to pivot into a B2B product where it catered more towards knowledge management for coaches and students. I shared the pivot with a few martial arts communities on FB and the response was really extremely positive in one group with a few users (owners of gyms) saying "I need this".

Just recently, the conditions at work made it opportune for me to make the jump from my full-time job to focus on this endeavor to see where it goes. We're on track to get our MVP out by EOY.

As we're getting ready to get our MVP out the door, here are the questions I have:

  1. What's important to focus on at this stage?
  2. What steps would you take to determine the ideal price point? When do you start charging?
  3. What are things you would NOT do at this stage?

Thank you in advance!
