Small project was just acquired. Is my new idea stupid?

I have wanted something like this many many times. I am sure design teams would be willing to pay for it, too.

I always either ended up using something like Mobbin or UI Patterns (ex: https://ui-patterns.com/patterns/StepsLeft ) or doing a couple of Google image searches for screenshot and whatever flow i was working like so "screenshot guest checkout".

I see one problem in this: either you strongly curate the content (very time consuming, hard to scale), or someday you'll have the same issues of these giants, i.e. too much content to browse - with the difference that those are free, yours is a paid service. In order to really catch on you must provide a very high selection of curated content, which is no trivial task, when not impossible (it depends on exactly what type of content you want to provide)

I'm playing with a similar idea but focused on content marketers at the moment. Basically just giving them really good examples of stuff that's worked for others. I think the only people that can tell you if it's a good idea are the potential designers that would use it. I'd forget about the monetisation side of it until you work out if anyone will use it.

Do you have a prototype for this?

If yes, try to validate it using crowdapp.io . That should help with understanding the market’s readiness for this idea
