Small Reminder

If you're an idiot like me sometimes, don't forget to block your IPs from the Google Analytics tracking. For the first few days, I was confused as to why there was one person on the site every day for a couple hours. It was me.

What? That’s the only way I get repeat visitors to my site. I’d lose that. 😂

Don't forget the crazy high "time on page" durations and 0% bounce rates!

Thanks for the reminder, we had not turned on IP filter. For anyone looking, here is the help: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1034840

Another way to prevent being tracked by your own GA (or anyone else's for that matter) is to use something like uBlock Origin :) I sometimes need to disable it to check I've set up the tracking code correctly

Lol had a similar thing happen to me on an analytics app. I received 200 - 300 page views one day out of no where. Can’t explain it completely but I’m pretty sure it was just my phone constantly refreshing the page or something !

@vertex360 LOL, yeah I've done that before. Generally, I just add a query to my links (mysite.com/?s=ceo, ?s=bugfixes) when I'm testing or reviewing my site.
