Small weekend project idea validation

I know there are many remote job boards out there. I am trying to create a little app where it will consolidate all email alerts from various remote job boards and forward to one email address. So, after you find a job you don't have to unsubscribe from all job boards but just from this one email. Would anyone pay for this kind of service?

    Pay? No. Interested? Yes.

You can charge companies to post jobs on your platform, feature jobs in emails. Monetization will be from companies.

As of now, I have no intention of making money but create something that might be helpful for job seekers as more remote opportunities are being sought for. Thanks for the feedback!

I think the plan would be to /not/ be another job board, but simply an aggregate list. Less to build that way.

Definitely could see free to play pay to win on the upsells to be featured in the email. Also as @doublejay mentioned, advertising. The moment you have a captive / niche audience you immediately become a valuable medium for advertisers (reads, you can charge more since you're targeted)

Also, definitely feel the same about about being a user, but wouldn't be interested in paying for it. Cheaper to let a recruiter do the sourcing for me and skim off the top, vs. paying out of pocket.

Yeah, I agree. I am going to make this coming week and make it free for everyone. Thanks for the feedback!

Good stuff! Feel like you're going to knock this one out pretty quick, would love to hear the story from idea to launch (timelines, corners cut to get going, etc etc)

Yeah for sure. I am going to work on it this week whenever I have some time. I got all the email forwarding ready with https://forwardemail.net/ pretty cool little tool.

I'm gonna use it but probably won't pay for it. Depends on the quality of the jobs being posted :)

Nice, I will make it free. =)

    Pay? No. Interested? Yes.

Monetization can come from companies looking to advertise on your email list.
