SMS & Email marketing tool - seeking feedback

Hey there,

Landing page: [redacted]

The actual app is still WIP; try now links won't work. In this post, I am seeking to get feedback only for this landing page.

Looking at the landing page;

1- can you understand what this service is about?
2- is it easy to read and understand the content?
3- could I communicate the value props clearly?
4- is the layout structured properly?
5- what did you think about the pricing?
6- if you were to describe the overall language of the copy with one adjective, what would it be?
7- how can I improve, any thoughts?

PLEASE CHECK OUT THE WEBSITE BEFORE YOU READ ANY FURTHER! :)

Now that you looked at the landing page, I want to explain what it is about so you can determine whether I did a good job explaining things. The goal of this project is to make it easier for companies/individuals to reach their users/customers via text and email. I have used MailChimp and few other email marketing tools in the past, and I found it extremely hard to manage campaigns because of the added complexity of features I (or an average user) won't ever use. SMS marketing is a whole other deal. With a quick google search, you can find some tools that were created a decade ago that are hardly usable.

I would truly appreciate any feedback you may have, thanks in advance.

As a side note, I am looking to find a few beta users. If you are leveraging email/SMS marketing for your product and want to give this a try, please send me a message. I will give you free credits.

Lastly, if you are interested in technical details, here are the steps I followed to create the landing page:

  • discussed the idea with a few people
  • purchased a domain (using google domains)
  • purchased a bootstrap theme ($39)
  • it had 4 landing page variations, I took all the widgets I wanted to use on my landing page
  • created the initial version of the page with an actual copy
  • hired a copywriter on upwork, updated the copy, applied their feedback
  • created a repository on Github
  • setup a Github action so when a change is made, the website is deployed to firebase hosting automatically. it only takes 2-3 mins for my changes to go live
  • since it is a static page, the storage/bandwidth fees should be next to nothing (we will see)

I am planning to create another post to get feedback for the actual tool in the coming days/weeks. I can go into more details there and explain how everything comes together (landing page, single page app, backend, backend workers, queue, DB etc.). If you are interested in hearing about it, feel free to leave a comment below and I will ping you when I create that post.

Thanks for your time,
Selman
