Snap n Eat: Your AI-powered food and calorie tracker

Hey, I'm the founder of Snap n Eat, a food and calorie tracker that uses vision AI to determine your macros such as calories, proteins, fats and carbs based on a photo of your meal.

Why I built Snap n Eat

Several of my friends and myself included go to the gym often. I happened to have a personal trainer who wanted to track what I ate so she could calculate and determine my calories and nutrients each week. Manually logging my food is a massive pain point so I thought... why not build a food diary app that uses AI to help with process?

Main features:

  • Take a photo and it will classify and name the food
  • AI estimates the carbs and other macros based on the portion size
  • Ability to export the food diary as a PDF
  • Set weight and BMI goals and visualise your progress daily.
  • A nutrition database is available to easily look up food and add food
  • We are planning a roadmap to integrate with fitness trackers like Fitbit, etc

Target users
Gym goers, people who need to track what their eat
