Blue light is a high-energy visible (HEV) light that has been shown to affect our circadian rhythm and sleep patterns. Exposure to blue light in the evening can suppress the production of the sleep hormone melatonin, making it harder to fall asleep and leading to disruptions in our natural sleep-wake cycle.
