So I just bought a Facebook group of with 83k members
After seeing a lot of people talking about building your follower base in Facebook groups and using making affiliate deals with group owners I thought it would be worth a try to see if I could buy one and control all the messages myself.
And I have to say it was easier than I expected, I just reached out with an offer to a group owner and the day after the deal was closed.
The only downside is that its not that active at the moment so that will be a job for me now.
So now that I have the group, I could use all tips I can get on activating a community.
Do we have any community managers around? 😂
What is the cost of such a group (scale of magnitude if you can't say exactly)?

Hard to know without exact details, but I guess the focus should be on:
I'm not sure what your intentions are, but I think you would probably need to develop some kind of trust level with the members, so that they feel like they still belong there.
I thought they disallowed this? I'll be interested to hear how the members react.
They did, but honestly if you had the chance would you stop just because they say so?
The members has been all positive, they weren’t that happy with how the group was managed before.
And honestly I don’t see why it would matter who’s the owner as long as the owner is contributing and doing their best to help the members.
