Softr is #1 on ProductHunt now! 🎉

We’ve just launched Softr on Product Hunt. And it's now trending #1!

Not a designer? 🤷🏽‍♂️ not a coder? 👩🏽‍💻 don’t have time to learn another no-code tool? Softr is the easiest and fastest website builder! Build beautiful, responsive, multi-page websites in 5 minutes.

If you like the product, your support would be much appreciated! 🙏

For all fellow Indie Hackers, who are planning to launch on ProductHunt, here are some tips to do BEFORE the launch.

  • Build an audience first. Create an upcoming page in ProductHunt. It’ll really help you collect emails of people interested in your product when it launches. You can also convert some of those people to beta-testers or early users. Also, most of them will be happy to support you on the day of your launch! :)
  • Launch as early as you can. It’s repeated too often, but it’s one of the most valuable things to launch and validate your hypothesis early. Test your assumptions with different group of people by sharing the early version of your product, get feedback, understand what people want, then iterate.
  • Be active in communities. I’m part of several slack groups/facebook groups, no-code communities. One thing I noted is that the result of your post in those channels is directly correlated to your activity and how helpful have you been to the community :) People are open and wiling to help those who are in their tribe, who give first and actively engage.

If you find these tips useful, stay tuned, I’ll share more tips in a bigger post when we hopefully manage to rank high for the day (and I see what worked and what didn’t)! :)

Thanks,
Mariam

Hello @mariamhakobyan, congratulations on the launch!

I wanted to tell you that I am teaching digital marketing and web development classes in a public secondary school in Argentina and I will use the free versions of Softr to teach the basic concepts to take into account and that students can create web pages for their final projects year with the tool.

Perhaps several students will continue to use it in the future.

Congratulations again and if there is a possibility of working on something together, I will be here.

    Regards!

Thanks for your feedback @jorjerojas, this sounds awesome! Can you pls DM me on Twitter (@mariam_hakobyan) to discuss more details how can we work together? We would love to support you bringing Softr to the schools and help students quickly build websites/web-apps! :)

@mariamhakobyan you nailed it so much! Congratulations!!
    Just upvoted softr :)
We've just launched tabby, an AI-based browsing assistant that removes your tabs automatically and silently to create more focus. It's on ship, as you suggested, and we'd love to have your support should you accept :)

An Amazing tool! Little bit expensive for the long run though

Thanks @NavehMevorach, well if you calculate monthly hosting cost, paying the dev to make any changes for website iterations, and your valuable time as a founder to be spend on it, I think it's even cheaper to use a tool like Softr on the long run :) e.g. I literally just spent 30 mins before launch on changing the whole website (softr.io), added new Templates page, new sections, content improvements, a banner for PH launch, PH widget and more. If you asked a dev to do all that (especially if it's a freelancer), just the time you spend on back and forth communication, design, etc would take ages.

You're absolutely right! I take my words back!
As I said - An amazing tool and I will definitely gonna use it

Haha, not trying to convince, but it really is true (I know I'm biased :)). Would love to have you join Softr and build your website with us!
