Software Enabled Service For Capital Markets Industry

Hey guys,

Wondering if anyone has dived deep into the Capital Markets industry?

Think: how does a debt payment go from the person who took out a loan to the person who bought the bond? Or, how does a dividend payment go from the bank account of a company to the stockholders?

In this process, there are a ton of middlemen, service providers, and probably technology providers. I wonder if there is an opportunity to build a tech-enabled service here where you can displace one of the middlemen by being cheaper and more efficient.

Blockchain is not a good solution yet. Capital markets aren't even on the Cloud.

One place I am thinking about getting started is helping Credit Funds do diligence and keep track of their loan portfolio.
