Software engineer with ML experience looking for ideas/projects/collaborations
Hello, I'm a software engineer looking to work on interesting projects.
About me
I'm a full-stack engineer with three years of experience at an augmented reality startup and then at Lyft. My areas of expertise are designing and implementing large-scale data pipelines in the cloud, machine learning models (mostly computer vision), and back-end services. I worked on a few front-end projects as well, although I have less experience in that. I'm always willing to learn new technologies and approaches when it makes sense for the project.
What I'm looking for
I recently started working as a freelancer and now I have enough time to work on side-projects as well. The problem is that I can't come up with an idea I'm passionate enough to start working on. I'm looking for product people with ideas who are in need of an engineer to build an MVP, or simply someone that wants to have a chat and brainstorm together.

I'm Ido. I've been in product leadership for the past 10 years.
I've worked for Microsoft, Google, but also smaller start-ups in London, mainly on B2B products powered by data - AI, API, Edge computing, and similar initiatives.
In my early career, I pm'ed and taught language at Berlitz - an international language education company, and that's how became not only a domain expert but passionate about solving big problems in the online language learning industry.
Today, 9 out of 10 people who are learning a language online quit at an early stage, and only a tiny fraction of those who continue, achieve fluency; those who do achieve fluency - usually spend an incredible amount of time on it, and of course - money.
I am looking for a technical co-founder who is excited about helping me solve this problem with ML/AI, who is excited to become my partner in crime to build not just products but a great company.
