Sold $700 worth of graphic services without a website. What next?

I started with a simple(and probably much in use) idea.

I work with a number of designers in my circle. A Number of people asked me if I could refer them designers to keep their social feeds fresh !

So I sold them 40-60 social media banners at $49-69 (varying price).. I know that maybe stupid in hind sight

After selling $700 MRR worth of graphic services - I really have no idea on what to do next 😐

Looking for direction

Perhaps you could try setting up a website, social media accounts, and so on. That way people could find you, or more easily refer others to you.

Thanks 😊 I’ve tried doing those things in the post.. but have mostly ended up into oblivion without anyone actually noticing those things. Would be great to have some tips to market

You can provide a service to provide a number of banners each month. You can charge by a monthly fee or a discounted yearly fee. Then you can have a recurring income.

This much is recurring till now. I was confused about scaling it further

Create a website so you can describe your services, pricing, and works. It would be great if you can show case your success stories, i.e. how your customers use your work to increase traffic and conversion/sales. Show with examples on how your services (banners) can solve business problems (sales increases), then it is easier to do marketing or direct sales.

Super pedantic observation, but saying you sold "$700 MRR" is incorrect. MRR stands for monthly recurring revenue. Unless you'll be getting $700 every month, it isn't MRR.

No big deal! Just letting you know for future reference :) good luck!

Hey 👋 I don’t think I made myself understood. It is definitely MRR. They pay this monthly - recurring - every month

I'm curious - if they are paying you each month, what do you do for them each month so they keep paying you? I guess, in my imagination, "graphic services" seems like you produced some graphic or images and turned them over to the customers - but if they are paying you a recurring amount, then it seems you must also be doing something recurring for them?

Not sure if you read it well. They need social media banners every month to keep their feeds fresh. And that’s recurring, or isn’t it ?

Over deliver is a good first step. You ideally want a returning customer. If you can provide them value, you likely can do the same for other clients. And you can show how you helped your first client.
