solo-built a dunning automation tool in a few weeks — just launched

I just launched DunningAI — a tool that automatically recovers failed payments for SaaS founders.

The problem: every subscription business loses money to failed payments (expired cards, insufficient funds, random bank declines). Most founders handle this manually or just accept the churn.

The solution: DunningAI connects to your Stripe account, detects failed payments in real time, and sends an automated recovery sequence — smart retries + up to 7 email dunning steps.

What it does:

✅ Detects failed payments instantly via Stripe webhooks

✅ Sends a personalized email sequence to recover them

✅ Retries the charge at the optimal time automatically

✅ Dashboard with recovery metrics

Stack I used:

- Next.js 16 + TypeScript

- Supabase (auth + database)

- Stripe (payments + webhooks)

- Resend (transactional emails)

- Vercel (hosting)

Built this solo in a few weeks as my first SaaS product.
