Solo-built a "privacy-first" alternative to iLovePDF/SmallPDF — would love your honest feedback

I've been building WeLovePDF (welovepdf.best) on and off, and finally have it in a state I'm proud to share. Most popular PDF tool sites (you know the ones) require you to upload your file to their servers before doing anything — merging, compressing, converting. That always bugged me, especially for anything sensitive. So I built a version where all the processing happens client-side, in your browser. Your file never leaves your device. Current feature set (60+ tools): - Merge / split / reorder / extract pages - Compress & repair PDFs - Convert to/from Word, Excel, PPT, images, Markdown, CSV - OCR scanned documents into searchable text - Password protect, unlock, e-sign, verify signatures - AI tools: ask questions about a PDF, summarize it, translate it, generate a quiz from it It's completely free right now — no account, no paywall. What I'm struggling with as a solo founder: - Getting the first wave of real users - Figuring out if "privacy-first" is actually a strong enough hook, or if people don't care as much as I think they do - Deciding whether to monetize at all, or keep it free and monetize differently (donations? ads? nothing?) If you have 2 minutes, I'd love for you to try one tool and tell me what you think: https://www.welovepdf.best/ Open to brutal feedback — that's kind of the point of posting here 🙂
