How can you improve something you don't measure?

I've started doing monthly retros.

Let me know what you think.

Great article, you have a good sense of writing blogs

      Huge thanks @Lucid_dream1!

I've made a ton of mistakes along the way but it's the practice and perseverance that counts in the end.

Great article. It is a good idea to reflect on your progress on a monthly basis. When I started my indie hacking journey one year ago I also started narrating my journey in the Wannabe Entrepreneur Podcast.
It turned out to be a great way to keep a healthy mind and to meet a lot other makers.

      Wow, you've made great progress!

      Reflection is completely underrated.

Reflecting can be super motivating too. It helped me to write this blog and literally type and speak about what I've done. It can be easy to forget the journey behind us as we're constantly planning for what's next.

2022 is halfway over now. It's unlikely I'll hit my 2022 goal of $1k/MRR from $6/MRR but that changes nothing.

Don't lose courage! Often by changing just one key thing can cause a massive uptick in adoption. Try to identify what those factors may be. Talking with customers more, observing them use the product really helps. ("Get out of the building", as in go interact with your customers)

I have time to build one additional product this year and I'm going to give it everything I have.

As you pointed out yourself, it's not just product, but also distribution and everything else that goes into the magic sauce. We don't know the details, but maybe what you need to do to reach your goal isn't just building product?

"Get out of the building" - I needed to hear that.

      I appreciate your words! Thanks @mikan 🙏🙏🙏.

You're so right, it's not just about building product.
It's about connecting and creating value.

Really enjoyed reading this. I love seeing peoples progress.

🧠 It's hard to give something you love less of your time to make something new but it's healthy to let go and required as a solopreneur.

    Feel this.

    Best of luck!

I know right! It's been an ongoing challenge for me to transition between projects.

      Huge thanks @smcn 🙏
