Some tips for getting more eyes on AppSumo page?

We just launched on the AppSumo marketplace at a 75% discount. The incentive structure here is essentially that the first 5 reviews need to come from our network before AppSumo starts promoting the product.

So far I have:

  • Emailed our email list
  • Posted about it on Reddit
  • Posted about it on our various social media channels
  • Added a banner on the pricing page about the promotion

Any other suggestions on how to rake in some purchases (and, importantly, reviews)?

Do yo have existing customers on your platform who you can get review from?

If there is, we at reviewhornet.com can help. You can see the product explainer video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FwNUq57FfQk

The building part of the product works by sending a unique link to your customers, then our platform takes a rating of what the customer things of your platform. If the rating they gave is good we forward them to the review website, which in this case is AppSumo. You can also use our product to get reviews from the initial set of customer who buy though AppSumo, this way you can keep building your reputation there.

We are new product and so are looking for Beta customers. If you are interested, we can give you a free trial for a month. Let me know.

Hey, thanks for taking the time to write this up. I'll be cracking away at it today.

We currently have a decent amount of users, but were looking at AppSumo as a little injection of press and users. We'll see how it turns out :)
