Someone called my landing page "AMATEUR" 🧐

Here i was on reddit, just sharing some love and you know my landing page when someone said it look amateur. Slapped me right back to earth.

First here is the landing page: http://launchedfast.com.

What do you think would make it less "amateur" besides making it less colorful and plain.

Have you felt that pressure of having an awesome/high-end looking landing page even when you are just starting out?

Cheerfully,

Here is a quick redesign for hero section of what's possible with your landing page:

    Hi Saj,

First of all it's a good landing page. You do not need a high-end landing page. The purpose of the landing page is to communicate the value to the potential customers and your landing page does that.

Here are some suggestions for improvement:

    1. Let's start with the hero section, the slider is good but as a user I would like to see short, sweet 4-5 feedbacks all at once. This way it's easier for me to skim and I get the value proposition, too.
    2. Why LaunchedFast section has a bit too much text, consider dropping it two only two lines.
    3. The process section needs a main heading to better let the user know about which steps are you talking about.
    4. The illustrations are not consistent, consider using one source from where you get all the illustrations and use more space between illustrations and text.
    5. Drop the red background on Pricing heading. The pricing cards are more important. Currently, Pricing heading takes more attention. Use more padding in pricing cards with some emojis or something for every feature included.
    6. Drop the top and bottom gray border for FAQ section. Instead use a lighter background color to show that it's a separate section.
    7. You can use the red background-color as used on Pricing section for Get Stated Today For Free section because that is what you want your users to do.

    Hope this resonates with you.

Sorry bout that, "amateur" is rude and inaccurate. Some people are just angry and that's a bummer.

I noticed that the "About" and "Pricing" links are not quite working. Getting scrolling based navigation to work can be a headache, so you might be better off with dedicated pages instead of scrolling to another section.
