Hi iH Community -
I was wondering if you'd help test drive my web-based application called GHOST.
The kernel of the idea came when (and apologies for the heavy note) my mother got diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer 3 months ago. After the initial shock wore off, I had this primal need to scream into the void—except societal guardrails dictate that any such outburst would be way beyond the norm. Yet that feeling remained.
The last time I think I truly felt like I could scream into the void without judgment was screaming while submerged underwater—something we've all done as kids. (It's interesting how as life gets more complicated, we yearn for simpler times.)
At the risk of sounding like I preach the gospel of technology-is-the-solution-to-everything, I wondered if I could scream my words into the world without judgment, blowback, or worrying about perceived norms. Obviously people have used social media to voice their personal (non-offensive) visceral feelings, only to be gutted by the internet. My creation of GHOST is a response to that—an antithesis.
It's a platform where you can share your authentic thoughts completely anonymously.
I wonder if you might give this platform a shot—and I'd welcome honest feedback.
