Hey IH! 👋
I'm Poyan, a non-developer who just shipped my first SaaS.
A bit of background:
I'm a serial entrepreneur in recruitment, employer branding, and video tech. I've been running businesses for 12+ years – but I've never built software myself. Until now.
The problem I had:
Every month I'd spend 1-2 hours digging through Gmail for receipts from Stripe, AWS, Adobe, GitHub... Copy-paste into folders, forward to my accountant, repeat. Boring, repetitive, easy to forget.
The solution:
ReceiptBot connects to your Gmail/Outlook, scans for receipts from 50+ known vendors, and extracts them in 30 seconds. That's it.
The interesting part (for this community):
I built this in one week using Claude Code. No dev background. Just me and my "team of Claudes" pair-programming through the whole thing.
A year ago this would've required hiring a developer or spending months learning to code. Now a non-technical founder can ship a real product in days. Wild times.
Current status:
Beta launched on Product Hunt last week
Free during beta, $49/year after (to verify app with google and keep developing)
Looking for early users and feedback
What I'm figuring out:
Google's "unverified app" warning scares people (certification costs $500+/year)
Should I focus on freelancers or small businesses?
Everything that I might be missing!
Anyone else building in this space? Would love to hear what's worked for you on the go-to-market side.
Congratulations on your launch. It looks impressive! What channels are you exploring to attract early users?
