#daily-stand-up
I will be hustling Saturday, though perhaps less than I'd like. It's brew day tomorrow, which will burn half the day but includes day drinking and steak...and a home made 10% ABV American IPA once the fermentation is done.
As for FRIDAY...

OTHER NOTES
I think it's time to move on. I'm going to try to salvage the work I did on the remote-first space by writing up my learnings, but it's time to identify a new market. I'll be spending most of today likely just running through my idea lists.
Thanks for the shout-out! It's a marathon!

@benparsell shipping those new routes
Epic: Get the main functionalities (happy path) for my sports analytics app working nicely by July 1st. Get app working on a public web server for testing by myself and business partner. In July, refine and fix any UI issues plus more graceful error handling.
Yesterday:
Refactored my serverless functions and added in CI/CD for deploying the backend to staging and production level public sites.
Accomplishment: stopped working at 830pm and went on a nice run plus healthy dinner.
Today:
-Bug fixes and validation for the user flows that might have been impacted by my clean up efforts from streamlining and rationalizing the BE workflows.
-Stretch goal: Get react frontend deployed on S3 buckets for static served website.
Epic: Push out my Serverless API, build out dashboard homepage for frontend
Yesterday: Pushed a few new routes
Today: Identify main collections needed to be serviced, continue building those. Look for a few open sourced dashboard templates to be able to utilize as a starter. Also identify which front-end framework to use. Suggestions for that? Will need to tie in with my API via Firebase (functions)
I'm also working with serverless APIs. While it has it's own pain points, I'm enjoying not maintaining webservers.
For dashboard templates, I'm a fan of creative-tim for FOSS dashboard templates.
Love it! I'm planning to just spin up a droplet for the front end, so you're totally right that it's awesome not having to worry about that for the API itself. I'm also a huge fan of Creative Tim — I haven't looked through their templates in a while, so I'll have to check those out. Thanks for the suggestion, and keep having fun!

Umm its not Saturday haha, but I'll bite.
Sorry about the looong lag!
EPIC: Launch Naminator, Bianna, Dating site by end of 2019. Have one of them gain traction.
Last ~10ish days:
Did a looot of various fixes to Naminator:
The 'getting stuck' issue plus speed issues should be fixed (for good, I'm hoping)
Quality of names improved a loooot. Still have some work to do here.
Showed words from Naminator to a bunch of people looking for names - got some really valuable feedback which I'm working on incorporating.
Tomorrow:
The version 1 won't be the final version here, but its something just to get up and running.
If there's time, work on checking domain name availability & showing it next to the results.
I'm also thinking about monetization by reaching out to domain registrars and pitching them to pay for suggestions when a domain name is unavailable.. but I keep thinking the results need to be better for that.

Haha that was awesomely funny. I WISH it was Saturday!
Friday?
Started making my todo list for Pushup Hero. Getting back into dev after letting the downloads happen organically. Now I have baseline and excited to try and double it.
