July Epic
Yesterday
Was a NUTS busy day at the day job but I geared up to chase the deadline rabbit right after I put the kids to bed and knocked out almost all of a major feature.
-Created a message system to allow customer to send messages/feedback to locations from within the app. DB Table, Backend, App UI work. Won't do "Respond to messages" feature yet, but roughed it into the backend and setup the DB to handle it.

( 1 ) Just checked out your landing page for the first time in a hot minute. The copy if fab! Well done!
( 2 ) My oh my Announcr has grown up! I really dig the direction you're taking!
( 3 ) How will you persuade customers to download the app?
Thanks! Need to update again with the newest, but that will be in early August. I am going to go town by town, location by location, with a regional/local rep strategy to sign up businesses and evangelize the app. There is a lot of room in the margin to compensate local reps well. Coordinated launch plans in localities will help rollout take on a kind of "this is trending in our community, jump on the bandwagon" from both businesses and local users/reps.
Incentive to the customer is to:
Sweet spot for revenue starts at around 50 customers per location, and they don't need to be unique from location to location. ie I expect lots of local overlap.
The locations will ask their best/loyal customers to download the app so they can communicate with them, and vice versa. I will also design swag, printables, and stickers to leave at locations, counter cards, door posters, etc. Cost comes out of setup. Their incentive to do so is TREMENDOUS as Announcr gives them a good handful of unique superpowers they can use anytime, at a crazy price.
Local reps will evangelize in their own communities, using various angles pulled out of the customer benefit list. Pre-created sales/marketing collateral and FB ad creative for them to use.

In this crowd, I suspect you'd likely have more luck with Front. Might be worth polling which team boxes IH'ers use...

-(AutomatedApi) work out a simple wizard setup for new api creation through user portal. Done but very rough, needs thought before refining.
-(AutomatedApi) roll old landing site code into new site so I can iterate on pricing implementation.

everyone who got on yesterday before the day was over...I definitely spaced until late

Is this your first time joining the stand up party? And how your gathering case studies?
Existence of an actual onboarding process and reverse proxy through which to push calls to their service. Both on the list for completion by end of July. At that point I can brute force new web api generation for customers.
