By the end of November I'd really like to launch my product on PH. Yesterday I spent a lot of time chatting to people in various maker communities, seeking feedback and sharing ideas. Today I'm enacting a lot of that feedback! If anyone has a spare couple of minutes and fancies sharing some ideas please check out https://www.dodoodem.com and email me on dani@dodoodem.com :)
I really dig the playful aesthetic! I think it would be nice to get a better sense of what the app looks like on the homepage or maybe a button to view a demo project. It might also makes sense to focus on a single niche at first and expand later, even if it's merely just how you pitch it on the landing page. Is there one category you personally have a stronger interest in or more knowledge about? Side question: Where'd you get the illustrations you use in the "How people use Dodoodem" section? I like them :)
Hi Gabe, thanks so much for your feedback :) and yes I definitely need to add a product shot in!!
I am hoping to add a few more activities to my side project app before our launch towards the end of November. The product is called Worry Kit (https://worrykit.com/) and it's focused on in-moment relief mental wellness, so am researching CBT and ACT activities to help inspire the upcoming content. Also working on reaching out to therapists and social workers to get more feedback :)
Yesterday had a great meeting with my partner about the future of the project and how we hope to get there. It's been a good weekly cadence of progress which is so much better than when I first started working on this. Feeling grateful..
November is down to creating content and being useful now.
Ran into major hurdle yesterday with deployment of the new changes....of course it's the final inch of the upgrade that stops the whole thing...but I was able to rip out targeted bits, write a new logging library that I could publish to NuGet, and then reimplement the changes in a couple of hours.
Right now, I think that leaves me with a product that, while not particularly pretty, is something I feel meets real needs and that i could be more aggressive about selling.
By the end of November

Yesterday, I acquired my first giveaway item worth $170 and today I'm working on my producthunt landing page & deciding how/when to launch on PH.
I am! I am trying to find ways to better monetize my art resource and tutorial website https://artres.xyz! I would love any feedback!
Just came up with an idea over the weekend that would solve a current problem that I'm encountering, so at this point I'm mostly looking to define the scope of the MVP and start building. By end of November I plan to have the initial database infrastructure set up and most of the UI ready.
Going to start charging on divjoy.com and see if any of the ~60 or so people that export codebases each day are willing to pay. I'd be happy if just 1 out of 60 convert. The plan is to roll it out today, so we'll see!
Wow this looks very cool. Would love to save time making react apps. Going to try it out.
Sweet! Would love to hear what you think after giving it a try.

Busy sending our cold emails for my newsletter-as-a-service www.emailatscale.com . It's not sexy and not scalable but having 1:1 conversations with potential customers is extremely valuable as I try to validate my value proposition.
Newsletter as a service? Very interesting. How are you finding the type of people who would be interested in it?
SaaS owners are my target at the moment so IH and SaaS podcasts are a great place to start talking to them. Our service helps founders increase sign-ups with weekly newsletters so this is great for solo founders who are too busy improving their service to create content for a weekly newsletter but also know the value of keeping your mailing list engaged.
