Start a 🧼 business to support COVID-19 prevention

Hey Indie Hackers –

As we all know, promoting proper hand washing is critical to flattening the COVID-19 curve. That's why I was so disappointed to see the hand soap section of my local grocery store empty. Clearly, we need more soap so I began to look into if I could help.

I discovered that making high quality, organic hand wash is fairly straight forward and started to build New Day, a modern direct-to-consumer hand wash brand with 100% of all profit going to COVID-19 relief (launching next week).

To encourage other scrappy entrepreneurs to consider starting their own soap businesses, I've shared every step of the process, in detail, in my newsletter One Week Startup – give it a read here.

Starting the soap business has become a great side project during quarantine. And for anyone whose income has been disrupted by COVID-19, this could be a much needed alternative income source.

If you found any value in this post, would love if you subscribed to One Week Startup where I share weekly guides on how to start side businesses during COVID-19.
