Started a crowd-sourced website for kids' activities
I'm a work-from-home parent and I've been sent so many suggestions on social media, in person and shared from publications on how to keep my kids busy and productive during this time of social distancing.
It irked me that there was no central location to stash these ideas, upvote the better ones, leave comments and bookmark my favs for later. So I made kidalist.com a couple of days ago and it's been getting decent traction.
Users can submit a resource, e.g. duolingo app for language learning or Mo Willems daily YouTube drawing class, or the Cincinnati Zoo home safaris. The resources are arranged in collections and can be filtered, upvoted, commented on and bookmarked.
Please share with any busy parents you know and submit any great ideas to add to the list. Feedback welcomed. Thanks all!
