Hey everyone! After a year of procrastinating I'm excited to announce the launch of Scrolling Path, UX studio committed to turning user confusion into user satisfaction.
In my previous roles in a corporate world I had various roles ( Front End Dev, QA Engineer, UX designer ) and I noticed that a lot of companies mess up major software updates and releases, by messing up user flows and changing user journey all together.
With www.scrollingpath.com, I am focusing on making applications and websites a joy to navigate. Serving SaaS or e-commerce businesses, we're here to help convert user struggles into seamless experiences.
Main goal is to simplify digital products and services, making them more enjoyable for users, and ultimately converting them into loyal customers.
This is version 1.0, so to speak, and I am looking forward to an incredible journey of continuous improvements based on your feedback.
Here are some comments I have received:
I like the concept, but think you should add a code (or no-code UX) deliverable option. People can only pay so much for improvement suggestions, the implementation of the superb UX design ideas into workable software is a non-trivial task with a lot of business value.
I would rethink the website copy, the website design and the positioning. It's a lot of text, abstract promises of outcomes, but without any real substance for a decision maker to act on. There are no real trust factors present. No photos, no screenshots, no videos, no information on the people behind the service or video evidence of their expertise in the subject matter. No case studies showing before and after transformations of companies you have worked for and results you achieved for them. The fact that it is all based on advice and no actual implementation may limit it's market and perceived value. The service may well be excellent. But the website provides little to prove that is in fact the reality. It says you are a studio but there isn't even an address for the business and just one person on the about page so a prospect may think you are just some freelancer working from home and not take the business seriously.
So, I would appreciate your opinion and comments, if you have any suggestions or questions, I would be more than happy to answer them.
Have a great day.
Congrats for the launch! I am no UX/UI expert, but as a product person and entrepreneur I think the website looks good enough. Your target clients by definition won't see the difference if you made it even better. So, you should probably focus more on building an (online) audience and build your personal brand as someone who knows what you're talking about (X, LinkedIn, etc).
Building fot yourself is the hardest and I can redo a website every other day :)
But at the end that is like you said, secondary. So yes, I ahree with building presence and authority, through case studies, articles and interactions with others of course.
Congrats! having run an Agency that does design and dev, I actually think that you have done the right thing by going a bit more narrow (i.e., design and not dev), I wouldn't change that. I would also make it clear who you are targeting and narrow that down (e.g. SaaS B2B early stage). Finally, I love that your pricing is really transparent, but it is hard to understand whether it is in USD, AUD, or some other currency and the "," in the numbers confuses that further. I would just write "US$500" its simpler.
Good luck with the journey! Reach out if you want to bounce ideas!
My main focus is to differentiate from similar services, but the hardest part is deliverables, because advice is hard to sell as people want tangible deliverables ( so I was thinking of tweaking services to include no-code deliverables).
Would love to bounce some ideas, and get your thoughts about that.
P.S. we can continue on LN also 🙌🏻
Hi Jan,
here are my 2 cents:
All the best!

Content will need bo be cut down, and move it to subpages, to not overwhelm people with too much content.
Previous projects are msinly NDA, so having hard time sharing those.
How to distinguish it from competitors is the haddest, because if I am just another bla bla, then that won’t produce any results.
The client I landed when I started this, came via word of mouth, but is not my target client.
