Started new Youtube channel - Just Backend
Hello Everyone,
I have started a Youtube channel - Just Backend
On the channel, I will be talking about backend development, building APIs, database designs, and backend architecture.
The videos will have running code snippets and a deep explanation of the topics I will be covering.
I wanted to know whats my total watch time on Youtube till now. So The first video is How To Find Total Time Watched on Youtube through Code
I am making educational videos for the first time, so please let me know where can I improve.
A small question:
I have shared my video on LinkedIn. Where else can I share the video? Will Reddit be good for it? Or any Facebook groups?

Going with what the person below me said, I am no expert on this and I'm sure there is data out there if you'd want to look deeper into it. But shorter length videos typically do a lot better in youtube, somewhere between 10-20 minutes :D I liked the video you posted by the way

As you are interested in web development, and say a video is about a topic which cannot be covered in under 20 minutes as it needs step by step explanation, do you prefer to watch one video of 20 minutes and then waiting for the next one(you might forget or miss that) or just one video which covers all about the topic at once?
Hmm I'm not sure, I would say maybe find places to shorten the video without losing or giving up any of the important things, but that can become difficult too. I would say if it has to be longer then 20 minutes you might want to just split it into two parts maybe, and release them together? not really sure, and I don't want to give bad advice, Just thinking of what I would do

My most actionable bit of advice would be to zoom in a little bit! Aim for < 30 lines of code visible on the screen and it will be easier for people to watch and code along side-by-side.
