Started selling. Got $500 on the first day

So after a long time in the making, I started to sell an incomplete pre-release version of my book.

The book: Deployment from Scratch

They were two reasons:

• Having an email list is nice, but real validation is money
• Some people said they prefer to start reading already (from a mailing list poll)

Since I finally have most of the text written, I focused on editing the first 13 chapters that also could be a book in its own right.

Yesterday I sent it to my email list of 611 people. 20 people bought the pre-release offer and I earned $500.

I think I don't have to say that this feels amazing. Once you have a product "out there" and people can actually buy, you never know when you get to celebrate the next sale.
