Starting a new mobile project for fun

Hello everyone,

I have an idea for a mobile app I wanted to work on and was wondering what tools/languages I should use to develop the entire project. It involves choosing different categories of food. Right now I am using kivy, sublime, python and fire alpaca for custom drawings. Please let me know if there is anything that could make the process easier and smoother.

I am a college lvl beginner at coding btw :)
