I started using Twitter in November when I quit my job to start building out products. It had an amazing community of entrepreneurs, something I'd never find in person.
I knew right away this was the platform I wanted to focus on: to start building an audience, gather knowledge, and feed off each other's momentum.
Problem is... Writing content can feel exhausting.
I was never a good writer. I'm an engineer at heart. Pumping out products and MVPs is my thing, social media posting is HARD. Marketing is REALLY fucking hard.
So what if I could automate turning my long-form tweets (threads) into my own blog, where I can also drive traffic, using SEO?
Separately writing and maintaining a blog feels like a lot of work, but if I can leverage Twitter where I'm writing useful content already, I'm killing two birds with one stone.
That's where Blots comes in 😁
p.s. It's free for everyone to try! Lmk at @haryck9 on how it goes for you 💪
I completely relate with you, writing can be exhausting specially if you're doing it for multiple platforms.
we promote our feedback tool ruttl on 3 social media platforms, so repurposing content has become our best option right now.
Blots seems like a cool idea would try it out and let you know!
I like it! Is there a reverse option where you can turn your blog into tweets?
There seems to be lots of AI options right now that can do that.
I'm building one ATM that allows people to develop those kinds of apps, you can check it out on my twitter: https://twitter.com/TheRealEtch
Hmm, haven't thought about the reverse direction.
I can see how AI would be helpful in the workflow. Possibly chop a blog into pieces, stopping at 280 chars. Shortening each section if necessary 😁
You lost me in 5th paragraph.
Sorry to hear it!
