Starting my marketing campaign on Reddit

Hey everyone,

I’m building a social network that matches people’s careers with their passions. Last week, I started a marketing campaign on Reddit where I message anyone posting a question that’s relevant to the problem. So far, I’ve messaged about 20 people and have about a 50% response rate. Of those people, about 3 have moved to the next stage: a consultation. Our site has also seen a 300% increase in site visits.

Based on our funnel estimates, we’re going to have to message about 7 ppl/day to reach our sale goal. Looking into the future, my only concern about this strategy is how I will be able to scale this process of messaging and talking with each person. There’s so much to learn from people in our primary target audience and even people in our secondary audience.

Some things I plan on building is a problem tracker, so that we can measure the frequency that people face similar problems.
